Raw Cinnamon Cacao Energy Balls

These raw cinnamon cacao energy balls are a delicious addition to your weekly meal prep. They are no-bake and very easy to prepare!

  • 1.5 cups mixed nuts (I prefer almonds, cashews, and pecans)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup gluten free oats
  • 2 cups pitted dates
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract


  • Food process the nuts and the chia seeds on high for about 1 minute  
  • Add in the cacao, cinnamon, and vanilla and food process for another minute
  • Add in the dates and oatmeal and process until a sticky consistency forms with everything well incorporated (about 2-3 minutes)
  • Roll into balls. At this point, you can either coat in coconut, crushed nuts, or just enjoy them plain! 
  • Store in the fridge in an air tight container. They will stay fresh for at least a week in the fridge or they freeze well up to 3 months.
